Alexander Longmore
Alexander is a provisional psychologist dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality counselling services to a diverse range of clients. He takes a collaborative approach and specifically tailors his counselling services to meet the needs of each individual client. He provides psychological services online or in person at our Liverpool offices – no referral required.
Alexander holds a degree in psychological sciences and a degree in psychology. He has a strong academic background in psychology, receiving the Vice Chancellor’s Scholar award from the University of New England in 2022. He has worked in the psychology education and training sector for several years, and he has experience providing counselling services to a diverse range of clients in private practice.
He has worked with a variety of individuals of different ages and cultural backgrounds. He has a particular interest in men’s and student mental health, interpersonal and family dynamics, mood disorders, anxiety and stress, including workplace-related stress. He also works with a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Person-Centred Therapy and Existential Therapy.
