Meagan is a highly qualified Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) specialising in gut health and mental health nutrition. With a passion for empowering her clients and optimising their nutrition intake for their mental health and overall well-being, Meagan is available for consults via telehealth.
With over eight years of experience in various settings, such as hospitals, NDIS, private practices, mental health inpatient facilities, and health promotion, Meagan has worked with individuals of all ages. She has completed additional training in nutritional psychiatry, eating disorders for community dietitians, IBS, FODMAPs, and motivational interviewing. She also holds an honors degree on omega-3 index.
During her sessions, Meagan may provide a personalised food-first approach to meet the specific needs of her clients, and offer simple and easy meals to help them along the way.
She is currently accepting clients aged 14 and above, with a focus on clients with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, postnatal depression and depletion, bipolar disorder, disordered eating, ARFID, and gastrointestinal associated conditions such as IBS, coeliac disease, and constipation.
Meagan is eligible to provide Medicare rebates and private health rebates for her sessions, and she also offers sessions within an eating disorder mental health plan. She also supports NDIS plan and self managed clients. With her wealth of experience and training, Meagan is committed to helping her clients achieve their best health and wellbeing.
