Sarah Kheir
Sarah is a Provisional Psychologist who has attained her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) degree from Western Sydney University. She is currently completing her Master of Professional Psychology and is working towards attaining full registration. Sarah values a holistic approach to psychology, drawing on a range of interventions and techniques.
She is committed to delivering evidence-based strategies while bringing a strong focus to her therapeutic relationships. Above all, Sarah is very clear on the personal values that she brings to her work in psychology, including patience, acceptance, attentiveness and a non-judgemental approach. She brings great warmth and sincerity to her work, which in turn assists her clients to feel at ease as they work together for change.
Sarah has experience working with psychologists and psychiatrists within the area of law with a focus on compensation matters. Sarah has experience working with people suffering from PTSD, MDD and GAD and their medical treatment providers, including those other allied health providers. This experience allows Sarah to engage in a collaborative approach with clients with the goal of assisting individuals in being more comfortable with the idea of seeing a psychologist/therapist to help their own mental well-being, and changing the negative stigma associated with seeking help.
Sarah offers therapy and psychological assessment for children, adolescents and adults.
Sarah is bilingual and speaks English and Arabic.
