Helen Ly
Helen is a registered counsellor who is compassionate and friendly. She believes in building rapport with her clients to develop a collaborative therapeutic relationship to assist them in achieving their goals. Helen provides a safe, warm and non-judgmental space for her clients to speak about their life's problems and challenges.
Helen has had experience within schools and not-for-profit organisations working with children, adolescents and their families with a range of presentations. She also has experience working with clients with disabilities under the NDIS, assisting them with achieving goals in their plan and develop adaptive coping strategies.
Helen uses a person-centred approach with a range of different modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy, art therapy, solution focused therapy and narrative therapy.
Outside of work, Helen enjoys music, cooking and making cakes for her loved ones. She also enjoys exploring new creative experiences with her friends.
