Olivia Orru
Olivia is a friendly, caring and warm registered counsellor who genuinely cares about the wellbeing of her clients. Olivia has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and families both in non-for-profit organisations and within school settings. Olivia also has experience working with children and adolescents with moderate to severe disabilities and mental health concerns which is an area in which she is extremely passionate about. Olivia believes in building good rapport between herself and her clients by providing a warm, nurturing and caring environment where her clients can work through their emotional challenges while feeling safe and supported.
Olivia uses a person-centred approach and will use various different therapies that will match the clients needs and goals they want to achieve. Some of the therapies Olivia uses with her clients are cognitive behavioural therapy, narrative therapy, play therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
Qualifications:
Diploma of Counselling (Australian College of Applied Psychology)
Bachelor of Counselling (Australian College of Applied Psychology)
