You in Mind (YiM)
You in Mind (YiM) offers free psychological therapies and non-clinical peer support for individuals who have, or are at risk of developing, a diagnosed mental illness and belong to an eligible population group in South Western Sydney.
Psychological therapies are provided by qualified mental health professionals and tailored to meet your specific mental health needs.
One Door Mental Health also includes the Clinical Suicide Prevention Service (CSPS), which provides an additional 10 sessions for eligible individuals.
Combined, this collaboration offers up to 22 free sessions within a calendar year, maximising access to comprehensive mental health support.

Clinical Suicide Prevention Services (CSPS)
The Clinical Suicide Prevention Service is a free service providing therapy and support for individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts or those who have previously attempted suicide. Read more about CSPS here.
The service is designed for individuals aged 12 and older who have experienced a suicide attempt or who are struggling with ongoing suicidal thoughts but are not in immediate danger. Individuals aged 12 to 15 must seek consent from a guardian before services can be provided.
Combined with You in Mind Program, this collaboration offers up to 22 free sessions within a calendar year, maximising access to comprehensive mental health support.
Aged Care: Residential Care, Better Access Initiative
The Better Access Initiative is a free bulk-billed service providing comprehensive mental health support and therapy for older adults in residential aged care facilities.
This service is specifically designed for individuals residing in aged care facilities who require mental health support, including those experiencing:
Adjustment challenges
Anxiety and depression
Grief and loss
Trauma
Life transition difficulties
Through Medicare's Better Access Initiative, eligible residents can access up to 10 free sessions per calendar year with a valid Mental Health Care Plan from their GP. Additional sessions may be available based on clinical need and GP assessment.
