Hamza is a Registered Psychologist / Clinical Psychology Registrar. He has a passion for supporting the mental health and wellbeing of individuals from diverse backgrounds. He recognizes that clients may have culturally diverse needs and he takes steps to be empathetic and compassionate to cater to all culturally and linguistically diverse people.
He is committed to taking a person-centred approach while delivering evidence-based strategies to meet his clients’ needs and goals. Hamza has a particular interest in supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression and trauma. As a Master of Clinical Psychology graduate, Hamza values creating a safe space for clients during the therapeutic journey.
His clinical and research experience assists him to identify his clients’ needs, engage in a non-judgmental and holistic approach, and create a person-centered environment for growth and wellbeing. Hamza looks forward to creating a meaningful and positive impact for all his clients at Dune Health & Wellbeing.
Hamza offers individual and group therapy as well as psychological assessment for children, adolescents and adults. He is particularly skilled in the assessment of ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disorders and intellectual disability for young people.
Hamza is available for Medicare, Worker's Compensation and Comprehensive Third Party and NDIS referrals.
Hamza is bilingual and speaks English and Arabic.
