Ashwini Kanitkar
Ashwini (Ash) Kanitkar is a compassionate, empathetic student counsellor, completing her student placement at Dune Health and Wellbeing. Ash has a background in working with diverse communities and groups, including survivors of domestic and family violence and forced marriage, people with disability and culturally and linguistically diverse groups. Ash has also worked with elderly people in a community development setting.
Ash has worked with survivors of trauma in group settings and is confident in her ability to provide a person centered, empathetic and safe space for clients. Ash is keen to support clients and use her skills, knowledge and experience to help work with clients, towards achieving their goals.
Ash also has an academic background in community work and a passion for working with people.
