James is completing his degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. He is currently in his second year and learning various therapeutic modalities.

James is passionate about men’s mental health, person-centred therapy, social and emotional wellbeing, and connection through community. He views mental health through a framework of socioecological factors and considers the determinants of health as vital to understanding wellbeing.

James is currently working as an Out-of-home care Support Worker. He has extensive experience supporting young people in out-of-home care in various settings, including camps and residential care.

James enjoys swimming, going to the sauna, taking ice baths, and practising martial arts in his spare time. He always looks for opportunities to engage with the community. My availability is on Fridays.
