Joseph Riley
Joseph is a Provisional Psychologist at Dune Health and Wellbeing. He has experience working across a wide range of populations, and presentations unique to one’s individual experience and across culture. While trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Joseph believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship, empathy, and compassion when working with clients to ensure a safe and reflective space. Joseph is a compassionate clinician, who values the life experiences one brings, and to work collaboratively in therapy in a non-judgemental space.
Joseph is also interested in working with people with that are suffering from complex trauma, relationship difficulties, and emotion regulation difficulties. He utilises therapeutic techniques to encourage reflection, insight, and self-understanding. Whether therapy is short or long-term, Joseph believes that a person-centred approach must always take place within the therapeutic relationship.
Joseph offers therapy and psychological assessment for children and adolescents.
